Name: Charleston Bench
Brand: Hooker Furniture
SKU: 6750-50004-40

Product Description: A fresh take on vintage design, the charming Charleston Bench is crafted of wood and accented by cane on the back and inside and outside arms. Featuring intricately-shaped legs, the piece is finished in Haint Blue, a soft color which can be found on the ceilings of porches and entryways, window shutters and doors in the American South, dating back more than 200 years from the Gullah folklore that held the color kept “haints” or spirits from entering homes and dwellings. The cushion is upholstered in the Oyster performance fabric for stain resistance and cleanability.
Collection Feature: Charleston brings the relaxed elegance of southern living into your home, creating spaces that feel welcoming, comfortable, and full of character. Inspired by breezy porches, historic streets, and coastal retreats, the collection helps you create rooms where family and friends naturally gather and where everyday moments feel a little more relaxed. Cathedral cherry veneers, walnut and maple inlays, and burnished antique hardware add richness and craftsmanship, while woven textures and weathered finishes keep the look light and approachable. Soft coastal tones of whites, greens, blues, and sun-washed yellows help brighten a room and create an easy, comfortable atmosphere you’ll enjoy spending time in. The Charleston collection makes it simple to design a home that feels warm, personal, and inviting. These are pieces meant to be lived with every day, shaping spaces where you can entertain, unwind, and enjoy a home that feels both timeless and effortlessly comfortable.

Material: Wood, Fabric and Cane
Finish Construction: Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Frame Construction: Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

Care: Clean according to cleaning code provided.
